 Dr. Bruening and Dr. Whisner are the core faculty behind the TRANSCEND Program. Supporting faculty members are listed below are involved in the training, advising, and education of trainees, and participation in CE and TA activities.

MEG BRUENING, 
PhD, MPH, ​RD

Dr. Bruening is an associate professor with research focused on public health nutrition promotion and obesity prevention. Dr. Bruening is responsible for administration, trainees, training, and more.

CORRIE WHISNER, PhD

Dr. Whisner is an assistant professor with research focused on metabolism. Dr. Whisner assists in leadership and communication training, as well as creating a community of practice.
